BODY DESIGN, DAS PRODUKT DER SIEGER, MIT ZUCKERFREIEM MCT

Suppose there is a food supplement that provides lots of extra calories to help build muscle and meet the energy needs of hard-training athletes, but without being stored as abdominal and body fat. Wouldn't that be the ideal diet for competition?

  • And if I now claim that there is such a preparation that both:
  • No pancreatic enzymes such as insulin or lipases
  • Does not need bile acids
  • And it is transported directly to the liver via the intestine and the portal vein, where it is converted to ATP in the ß-oxidation in the mitochondria.

I'm talking about medium chain fatty acids ( MCT 's), better known as MCT oil.

MCTs are hardly found in daily food, only butter and breast milk contain these oils in small amounts.

MCT is obtained from coconut oil using a special process.

The fat contained in normal food consists of long-chain fatty acids, which are composed of 12-24 carbon atoms, whereas MCT are only composed of 6-10 carbon atoms and are digested by the body completely differently than carbohydrates, due to their "easy heat" In contrast to the sugar-based diet, with all its complex metabolic processes, which often lead to physical and mental problems, and that although MCT has twice the nutritional content of sugar (8.3 Kcal / per gram)

Due to their shorter molecular structure, MCTs are more easily digested by the body and therefore have the highest degree of efficiency.

So it is not surprising that more and more athletes are preferring not only protein but also MCT in their daily nutritional program.
In order to be able to understand the difference between medium-chain fatty acids and long-chain dietary fatty acids and thus also the meaning of MCT 'in bodybuilding, a closer look at fat metabolism is required.

Before dietary fats (long-chain fatty acids) can be used by the body, they have to go through a long and complicated digestive process. And that's why they need all the enzymes in order to finally reach the liver via the small intestinal lymph, where they are converted into free fatty acids by means of acetyl-Co and can only then be used as energy.

Read more
